The annual James Suckling Languedoc-Roussillon report is out, and 94 Roussillon wines received scores above 92 points!


James Suckling is the undisputed heavyweight of world wine rankings. Not only has he been awarded the Medal of Honor by the Italian and French governments for his contribution to the wine industry, he has also been recognized by Forbes as “one of the world’s most influential wine critics.

Over the past year, James Suckling’s tasting team evaluated 788 wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region. They found many outstanding wines, with 10% receiving high scores (93 points or more).

Great success for Roussillon wines

Of the 302 bottles of wine sampled from Roussillon alone, 94 wines received scores of 92 points or more, and 187 wines received scores of 90 points or more.
