The First Edition of special Roussillon Prize for The China National Sommelier Competition

This year, we established the unique Roussillon Prize for sommeliers who have a complete understanding and depth of knowledge on Roussillon.

Roussillon Wine Council was one of the first institutions to introduce sommelier courses to students who majored in hotel management. It also was the first association in Europe to support the development of the sommelier industry in different countries. It positively contributed to a series of Asian sommelier events established by Tommy LAM through training programs and other activities.

Roussillon, as always, is extremely focused on the sommelier competition. In the final of the China National Sommelier competition, Jasper SUN and King WANG proved a strong knowledge of Roussillon. Therefore, we are pleased to express our sincere congratulations to the above winners with standout performances in The first Roussillon Prize. Both finalists will get a chance to attend the Roussillon Wine region tour in 2019.
