地理分布

巴纽尔斯产区是法定AOP天然甜葡萄酒以及列级葡萄酒产区,总面积达862公顷,产区紧邻地中海与比利牛斯山脉的东端。当海浪冲击着巴纽尔斯的礁石海滩,浪花在阳光下闪烁时,自然的力量缓缓地催化着美酒的诞生,而东比利牛斯省的四个行政区,科利乌尔、旺德尔港、滨海巴纽尔斯以及赛尔贝尔,成为了这些美酒的摇篮。

葡萄品种

众多周知,酿造不同的葡萄酒所需的葡萄品种亦是大不相同的,每一个不同品种葡萄的加入,都会与酒体产生奇妙的化学反应,促使不同的美味的诞生。而根据原产地名称控制原则,每个葡萄酒产区都有其特定的传统葡萄品种。那么巴纽尔斯产区的葡萄品种使用又有什么玄机呢?

AOP巴纽尔斯葡萄酒包括巴纽尔斯“Rimage”(仅巴纽尔斯产区还原型甜红名为“Rimage”,其他产区均为“Grenat”)、琥珀、瓦红、桃红、白葡萄酒,以及巴纽尔斯列级葡萄酒(仅限瓦红葡萄酒)。

酿造这些葡萄酒所需的主要法定葡萄品种有黑歌海娜(AOP巴纽尔斯葡萄酒≥50%;巴纽尔斯列级名庄葡萄酒≥75%)、白歌海娜、灰歌海娜 、小粒麝香, 亚历山大麝香、马卡贝奥, 露喜龙马尔瓦西, 托巴。除此之外补充葡萄品种(占比< 10 % )有黑佳丽酿、神索、西拉,依据美酒的不同属性进行添加,以达到最佳的口感.

风土地貌

AOP巴纽尔斯产区面朝大海,没有山脉的遮挡,作物能够很好地接受海洋湿润气流的照拂与充足阳光的滋润,有利于果实的生长与糖分的积累。葡萄园主要分布于陡峭山坡的(寒武)纪灰色页岩上,这类土壤土层浅薄,含孔隙多,促进了植物根系的向下延伸,使果实富含矿物味。同时陡坡的排水性良好,不易受到旱涝灾害的影响,将地域优势最大化。

Geographical Distribution

Banyuls production area is a AOP natural sweet wine and Banyuls Grand Cru production area of 862 hectares. The production area is close to the Mediterranean coast and in the eastern Pyrenees mountain. When the sea waves break against the Banyuls rocky shore, foam glistens in the light. The land catalyzed the birth of fine wines, and the four communes of the Pyrenees-Orientales, Collioure, Port Vander, Banyuls-sur-Mer and Cerbère, became the cradle of these fine wines.

Grape Varieties

The grape varieties are the different grapes used to make the wine. According to the principle of controlled designations of origin, each wine-growing region can use certain specific grape varieties, considered traditional. So, what is the secret of grape varieties in AOP Banyuls?

AOP Banyuls wines include Banyuls “Rimage”, amber, tile red, rosé, white wines, and Banyuls Grand Cru wines (only tile red wines).

The main principal varietals required to make these wines are Grenache Black (AOP Banyules wine ≥50%; Banyuls Grand Cru wines ≥75%), Black Grenache, white Grenache, grey Grenache,Muscat à Petits Grains, Muscat d’Alexandrie Macabeu, Tourbat or Malvoisie du Roussillon. In addition, Complementary varietals: (accounting for <10%) include Black Carignan, Cinsault, and Syrah, which are added according to the different attributes of the wine to achieve the best taste.

Terroir

The AOP Banyuls production area faces the sea. The vines can well receive the moist air from the ocean and moisturized by sufficient sunlight, which is conducive to the growth of the fruit and the accumulation of sugar. Vineyards are mainly distributed on the (Cambrian) gray shale on steep mountain slopes. This kind of soil has a shallow soil layer with good breathability, which promotes the downward extension of plant roots and makes the fruit rich in mineral flavors. At the same time, the steep slope has good drainage and is not easily affected by droughts and floods, maximizing the geographical advantage.

We observe – we smell – we taste!

Each bottle of AOP Banyuls has its own merits. To characterize the nose of the wine, we first inhale the wine without turning the glass: it is the 1st nose, which allows to define some aromas. You can smell it a second time by aerating it (the wine is swirled in the glass), which releases the aromas: this is the second nose. The characteristic of wine shows in nose as well as in taste.

Banyuls “Rimage”: wines of complex and elegant texture with notes of small, dark fruit, delicately gourmand.
Banyuls Ambré, Tuilé: romantic wines with notes of preserved fruit, figs and prunes.
Banyuls White: wines with floral notes, mixed with citrus and white fruit.
